Our Coast to Coast riding holidays are listed in Horse & Hound magazine "20 rides to do before you die" feature.
2014 is the Year of Homecoming Scotland. If your family roots are in the Highlands, why not ride in the footsteps of your ancestors.
Our guides are knowledgeable on the clans and history of the all of the areas we ride through and we are happy to help you plan your trip to the Highlands by suggesting places that might be of special interest to you and your family.
Trail Riding Holidays
If you dream of galloping along a deserted beach, we offer trail riding holidays that allow you to ride the beautiful, unspoilt beaches on the East, West and North coasts where seals cruise in the shallows curiously watching us watching them! If you long to ride through the heather, crossing rivers and climbing high into the mountains, we offer horse riding through remote glens and over high hills withbreathtaking view in all directions, where herds of red deer graze peacefully as we pass.
Come with us on a Coast to Coast ride across Scotland, or try our Three Coast Trail, where you canexperience the wonderful beaches on three different coasts. Try our short break centre based "petal rides"or set yourself a real challenge and join us on our Longest Ride – a 250 mile (402k) journey through some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland. We offer a wide selection of trail riding holiday options ranging from all inclusive packages of two days to over two weeks.
Ride the Great Glen a short break following the Great Glen fault across Scotland, the Wild West Highland ride, a ride through some of the wildest scenery in Scotland including Glen Affric and Torridon, or the Bonnie Prince Charlie Trail, following routes associated with the Jacobite uprising of 1745. By special request, we also offer an Outlander ride, visiting places associated with this popular series of books by Diana Gabaldon!
New for 2015 a series of new rides exploring the wild land from Fort william to the Cairngorms and from the Cairngorms to Montrose through the Cairngorm national park and Angus Glens - these can be combined to make a 2 week coast to coast ride. We also have Castles and Whisky trail, again through the Cairngorms and Angus Glens and a four day Fort to Fort ride from Aviemore to just outside Fort William.
We offer pony trekking and ride-outs for all ages and abilities from 1/2 hour for tiny tots to all-day picnic rides. We have safe, sensible ponies for beginners and forward going horses for more experienced riders.
